This isn't a Ronnie Brown bashing thread. Quite the opposite, the title might be a bit misleading but it is about the O-line also.
It's about Ronnie Brown making the O-line look better than what they actually are.
He makes no gainers out of 2 yard losses and 3 yard losses. He cuts through little holes with no cutback lanes. He powers ahead for the little 3 yard gains and the O-line ends up looking mediocre-below average.
He also makes them look better with his pass blocking, picking up some missed assignments here and there and always picking up his assignments and taking care of them with linebackers and safeties and so on.
The O-line needs to pick up it's game and get back to basics, I thought we had ok talent coming into this season on the O-line but it just hasn't showed. I think we need to move Hadnot to C and Carey to RG where he has played the his best football yet (in college). Then once they get back to the basics in the run game for christs sake just get a push and help Ronnie and Ricky out a bit.
