Who would you compare it to?

I cant quite tell who's style it is most similar too.. It appears to be rather unique to me.. He has some elusive speed wherein he looks almost like he isnt going too fast when he really is, and his style is odd in that it looks like he is almost dancing downfield, bumping and spinning off defenders.. He goes through them rather than around them.. Its a hybrid style of power/finesse, but not like others I have witnessed..

So who would you most compare his style to?

Hes like a giant Barry Sanders. Well ....that was his childhood idol anyway. I really do think he trys to emulate him in all seriousness. Hes got sooooo much power and size but really will never have the quickness.

Ricky Williams

I dunno.. Ricky's style seems more finesse to me.. In that he is much "quicker".. Ricky is much shiftier and just does some things that leaves your mouth hanging open.. Ronnie's style doesnt really have that awe factor, but it appears to be just as effective.. and it is still fun to watch.

I agree, I'm not sure who I would compare him to. Maybe Westbrook from the Eagles.

I would say he teminds me of Marshall Faulk when he was young, I would also say LT but Ronnie is bigger but just as versatile.

i dont know. he doesnt look like anyone i have seen either...not within the last 10-15 years anyway.

his body alone is unique, so you can cross out any comparison to a more compact prototype runner. i.e. the 5'10" 210 lbs guy

for you guys in your late-20s and 30's, who would you compare him to? marcus allen? roger craig?

i would say he's more along the lines of a marshall faulk type runner as many have suggested. i'm not sure of marshall's physical stats but he seems like a uncommonly fast, great pass catching, bruising running back. honestly, first 2 weeks into the season i thought caddy was the man and ronnie was a bust. as of late, however, ronnie has proved he has the potential to be great and i'm very happy we drafted him.

I agree with what you say about rickys moves. Later in the game Ronnie made some very Ricky like cuts, and then just flat ran some guys over. Reminded me of the Ricky of 2003.

he has the ability to look small and be shifty between the tackles and defenders, and then he can straighten up and slam into a defender, knocking him backwards. deception is brown's game
