How many rushing yards will Ronnie have this year?

  • 500 - 900 Yards (That would suck)

Im guessing about 1100 rushing yards and 300 recieving. That is realistic.

Let's just look at the first year averages of the last top 5 backs taken.

Edgerrin James - 1553
Jamal Lewis - 1364
Ladainian Tomlinson - 1236

So, around 1384 yards is realistic.

But I predict more yardage.

I think he just gets over 1000 yards. This is afterall is rookie season and even Ricky didn't break 1000 yards in year one. Gordon I believe will help ease some of Ronnie's playing time in year one.

1100-1250 Yards rushing.
30-40 Catches for 300-400 yards.
8-12 total T.D.'s

That sounds about right to me. It depends alot on the o-line...if H Squared gets em playin mean and knockin ppl around, he could well get closer to 1400 or so. If the line plays like it did last yr, he may not break 1000.

If Ricky does come back, and proves to be in game shape, I believe Ronnie will not start for at least 2-4 weeks (all depending on how fast Ronnie impresses the coaches), and will not be the premier back in that time, so he will not get most of the handoffs. But I also believe once he gets in the lineup, he will be at the very least consistent, will have a 4 yards per average, and will run between 900-1200 yards.

I expect him to do much better then 900-1200 yards in the coming years, but this year there will be a new system, a new O-line Coach (That will eventually make that a solid to above average squad), and Ricky might be coming back, so it will be tough for Ron to have a spectacular year running, but he might have one running and receiving with 2000+ all purpose yards.

i think over 1000 yards but with so good receiving numbers....

I'm thinking he just barely makes 1000 yards, but adds about 800 yards receiving, making him the dual threat that LT is in SD.

Brown is going to at least have over 1,000 yards this season, and thats assuming the o line does not do well.

If the line doesnt do well he will be lucky to get 600 Yards and a visit to the hospital.

That said ... Houck is gonna do tha magic and I think he should be solid right at 1100-1300 yards if Ricky doesnt come back.

about 600 rushing yards if ricky comes back. I think ricky will be back, and start and have around 1100-1200 rushing yards.

If ricky isnt back? around 1100 rushing yards, and good receiving.

I think Linehan will have him catching the ball out of the backfield or even sometimes in the same backfield with Gordon at times and motioning out to a slot, but these days, if you're healthy for a 16 game schedule, a 1000 yard season isn't all that tough to accomplish, we're only talking about 62.5 yards a game on average... I see at least 300-400 yards receiving out of the backfield... with the TD amount split between running and receiving.. around 12-14
