Ronnie is getting close to signing......16 teams have shown intrest in Ricky Williams. When Ronnie signs, should we try trading Ricky for a QB?

Gee, never heard that one before. You will not get a QB for Ricky unless he plays the whole year and stays clean and then what kind of QB would you get?

We are better off drafting a young guy next year if Sage, Aj, and Berlin don't work out. Gus only has a few years left in the tank.

i believe that Ricky is worth more than any all of our QBs.

We need to keep both Ronnie and Ricky this year for two reasons:

1. It will help Ronnie make the transistion from College to Pro a little easier having someone that can split carries with him.

2. Having Ricky play an entire season will help increase his trade value. We might get more in compensation in the offseason then right now.


Also, your title is a little misleading. "Ronnie signs with Fins". Got my hopes up for a split second.

How about seeing Ronnie run the ball in the NFL before trading Ricky. We need to keep Ricky this year at least. If Ronnie can run and then gets hurt, without Ricky....Welcome to last year minus Fiedler.

Don't get your hopes up. There was Ricky returning talk before the draft, and Saban still drafted Ronnie. Sure Saban thinks Ricky is still a great football player, but his long term plan is to trade Ricky, and make Ronnie the future. Nothing other then that.
