and only signed 9 days ago. At least thats what Saban said today in his post practice PC. I am so pumped to see him play his first downs this week.

excellent... what was the context of what he said? can you cut and paste?

:goof: I had just said the fans were astute in another thread. Hehe.

From your Sig.....
....don't forget, we used to have a pretty good trio in Kiick, Morris and Czonka.

You dont think everyone who held out for that long and for that much wouldnt be going all out at practice to try and avoid any criticism? Maybe someone who has a "I dont give a **** attitude" might. But the vast majority would be working extra hard to make the acclimation as smooth as possible. Then of course, with a gung-ho attitude because of the past trangressions coupled with all world talent, and you have one hell of a practice player. If they say that next year and the year after that, after he gets comfy with his surroundings, then it will be very impressive.

your 1st couple of sentences make it sound like you've nailed Mr. FudgePac (no K) Jones with Tennessee. Now that guy is a turd.

Wasn't he talking about Ricky?!?!?!?

''Absolutely, [Williams has] done an outstanding job in practice, and he finishes every play,'' Saban said. 'He has done everything that anybody could ask of any player. If you asked me, `Give me the top five guys that are the best practice players,' he would be one of them.''

Pretty good?
2 1000+ yd rushers and one 500+ yd rusher in a single year?

I'd say "pretty good" is a huge understatement! ;)

Sorry guys, I thought the reporter asked about Ronnie. I couldn't hear very well. The audio was turned down low. Now I feel stupid. :shakeno:
