Ronnie looked ?

How about the 3rd and short catch where he was off balance and snatched the ball with one hand. It was only a couple of yards but important ones on a 3rd down.

I was impressed with everything he did considering it was the guys first ever game.

Ronnie did great overall. He fell on that aborted fumble. He made some good blocks and blitz adjustments. He ran well -- The one play I thought he could've done something was the one where Champ got injured. Champ went low and I thought if he went over the top, he could've broken free but instead he went low aswell and ripped Champ in half.

He did what he had to do, just like the rest of the team. Broncos D wanted to make our passing game beat us, and it did. Ronnie did what was required, made a astounding one-handed catch, picked up the blitz, and gained yards when asked. It was his first NFL game, and when Ricky joins the back field, he'll only get better.

Sums it up very well.

But like HysterikiLL noted as well, we'll be expecting some killer instincts here in the very near future.

What impressed me most is the way he did the little things. That fumble play was huge and a difficult recovery. He picked up the blitz, he got into his routes, etc... And that catch for the first down was a great play.

His running in the 1st half wasn't overly impressive. He looked tentative and slow to the hole, not that there were really many holes. He looked a little quicker in the second half and had some decent carries. Still, he didn't look as fast to the line as morris or minor when they carried the ball. I think he will look better as a runner in a few weeks. Remember, he hasn't practiced much and he is a rookie. THe speed of the NFL game is vastly different than college. Overall, he played a very good game. And I'm hoping that he seems quicker to the line, and faster through the hole next week.
