Yesterday, it seemed to me that Ronnie looked better running the ball. In order to keep that consistency he needs to run the ball more to get in a groove.... What do you think?

Agree 100%. He looked faster than Ricky and hit the hole quicker and drove defenders backwards...he should start.

it sucks i go to U of rhode island and got the stupid pats game instead. but from what i saw and from seeing the stats it felt like ronnie definately looked better. i also remember last year ronnie brown seemed to do better as the game went on and im sure its still the case.

yea i didnt understadn why we didnt use ronnie more yesterday he just looked better when he had the ball also with our WR'S being so poor Ronnie even becomes more important with his ability to catch.

I get the feeling Ricky will start next week, but if there is still no improvement against the Cardinals, then Ronnie will get the nod for the remainder of the season.

I will hold my tounge. Everyone knows how I feel about RW, so, we'll just let that slide. I'm all for Ronnie as starting HB next week.

Hmm looking at the stats Ronnie didn't out play Ricky much... Did anything either one of them did impress you? I think not. Ronnie won't start because of his knee. And rightly so.

Our running game was enemic because our Oline didn't step up.

Yea, Ronnie ran better between the tackles, but I still would like to nurse him back a little.

Which was a result from our WR's, this game kinda opened my eyes on how WR's become that important *sigh*

Though I do think that Ronnie looked better, and I feel that he had several plays that impressed me, I agree that there's no need to rush Ronnie back into a full role.

I also agree that once our offensive line gets their sea legs under them in terms of run blocking, both Ricky and Ronnie will flourish.

Yup I was very happy to see Ronnie having a good game. It will be nice when we have both backs running full speed. I think getting each of them enough carries every game is going to be an issue. I still think I am in favor of alternating them from week to week as primary and secondary carrier. Give one guy enough attempts to get his mojpo going and only use the other to relieve him.

Everytime Ronnie touches the ball I'm impressed... that he has recovered so quickly.. I think we shouldn't take that for granted and use him wisely. even if he 'starts' (which in this system may be a tokenary measure) I think he should not be scripted to have more carries, at least not more than 20, unless of course he's just blowing the doors off the barn. HE ran it very well between the tackles yesterday..:up:Which is his strength.

I think starting to throw the ball was the right adjustment, but our receivers just didn't get separation. A few quick slants and move the chains while they loaded the box would've definately opened the running game.

I though earlyin the game with Bess and Camarillo making catches that that would happen. Bess didn't do anything for the remainder of the game.

So once again, for another year, teams can stack the box against us and force us to beat them through the air. Until we counter with some bread and butter quick hits, I don't care who runs the ball... they'll be about as effective as yesterday.

i think if the organization is going to stick to the tune of putting the best players on the field, ronnie should start next week and receive more carries

Ronnie needs to and always HAS needed to start as long as he's healthy. It appears he's healthy.....
