I have to say i am a lover of the wildcat. If you love this team how can you not be in favor of something that moves the ball as well as it does.

BUT! I have to say i hate it when people start yelling wildcat at the bars, when there is a balanced line in front of Ronnie.
Doesn't this just equal a direct snap? Doesn't the wildcat/single wing require there to be an unbalanced line?

Maybe wildcat is the stripper's name. What kind of bar are you going to anyway?

Just another twist to give the defense something to think about. Last year I believe it was 100% unbalanced. This year the line is significantly better and it doesn't seem like they even *need* to unbalance the line to tear off big gains.

the wildcat is nothing "official"

you can call anything the wildcat... a traditional single wing also does not have to have an unbalanced line... we run the so called wildcat, balanced, unbalanced, with a QB on the field, without a QB on the field, with a QB taking the snaps (White), with a RB taking the snaps, etc

wildcat is what the media/team/whoever decided to call the formation of Ronnie taking the snaps, the variations dont suddenly change that nickname

Ever noticed how excited the tv announcers get the 1st couple of times we line up at Wildcat in a game.

Its always

"Heres the Wildcat" or "Here we go"

Its like we have given them something fun to look forward to. You also hear them say things like "this is the 2nd time" or "this is my first time" "experiencing the wildcat In person"

Chubbs

What was really lame was at the beginning of the game, one of the announcers was discussing the advantages of the Wildcat and using the TelePrompter to show how Ronnie could read the defense and pick is whole. Only problem was the play they were showing had Penny under center and Ronnie in a typical I formation.

what i hate hearing even tho it is some what true... is "They are more productive out the wildcat than their base offense''

Hahaha So I wasn't the only one who caught that. That made me LOL.
