Ronnie Vs Carnell - Post Week 9

The whole Tampa team has blown chunks. The way they have played the last two weeks, they won't win another game. Their offensive line is terrible folks, regardless of what you think... they haven't pass blocked or run block the past two weeks. Carnell is a back that gets better with more carries, and the last two weeks, he hasn't had enough carries to make his mark. He is the least of my concerns right now if I'm a Bucs fan, and moreover, I'd be more concerned about Jon Gruden and his horrendous play calling.

He's been back for 2 straight weeks and hes blown chunks.
Also I hear he had a fumble in Bucs rezone resulting in a Panther TD. Atleast the Panthers (my favorite NFC team) blew out those Bucs and their loudmouthed fans.....Im reaching for anything positive. Just let me be.

I think Ronnie is the front for OROY at the moment but Ricky is hurting his numbers (not that it's bad having Ricky but statistically for Ronnie he's stunted)

Cadillac Williams hasn't done anything substantive since Week 3. That's 6 straight weeks of nothing. I don't care what your injury excuses are. The Bucs were 3-0 with Cadillac running wild, are 2-3 since Cadillac pulled up lame. So, they're losing games because of his injury issues and whatnot. At least we're not losing games because of Ronnie Brown, unless you count the Jets game.

I love Cadillac Williams, but that whole 3 week period where everyone started calling Ronnie a bust and Cadillac the king of the world has really, really jaded me on the issue. So, I do take pleasure in knowing that Ronnie has 200 more yards than Cadillac, and is averaging almost a whole yard better of YPC than him too.

he's only had one good game, he doesn't deserve to be in the conversation plus he's not from Auburn

miami's line has been poor all year, as has tampa's. and cadillac had some holes today, but was doing some ridiculous dancing in the backfield on several plays which i didn't udnerstand at all. one play he chose to lunge ahead or whatever and he got the ball knocked out by his own lineman. it was an odd play, and i have no clue what he was thinking

gruden is a BAD offensive cooridinator. plain and simple. he's EXTREMELY conservative and has absolutely no plan on any play over 10 yards. he looked like a genius in oakland with pro bowlers all over the place, but his version of the west coast is very plain and very predictable. although simms handled it very well early in the game

I wouldn't say either is better right now. Cadillac missed a couple games.

If you ask me, the fact that Williams has been injured only tips the scale farther in Ronnie's favor. Durability is a major concern in today's NFL. Playmakers who can only play half the season kill teams.

One bright spot for this season continues to be Ronnie Brown. Also, Ronnie is still in the lead after 9 weeks of play for the former Auburn backs.

I'm with you Nub, I liked the effort out there even if I didn't like our QB.

Ronnie is a stud.

Just like at Auburn CK.

I'll eat my crow on that one. Without seeing much tape of how the two had actually run, I had argued that Ronnie probably averaged more yardage because of his nature as a 3rd down back and because the games where he was most prominent were against lesser opponents.

Im all for ronnie, and i think he is still the best out of the two( i wonder how the draft benson fans feeling right now)...either way you are still going to get the fans who are going to say" if carnell wasn't hurt he would be ahead of ronnie, ah-huh yes he would...how much you wanna bet?"..
