Ronnie vs Ricky

Compare Ronnie and Ricky with Ricky's first 2 years. Guess who has longer runs, more yards per carry, and more total yards. I'll give you hint it's not Ricky Williams.

Why compare Ricky of 5-6 years ago, to the Ronnie of today???.....

We wouldn't be getting back the Ricky of 5-6 ago when he returns to the team in 2007. We'd be getting the one that has rushed for over 7,000 yards since then....

PHINZ RULE!!!!

No we'll be getting back a guy who has been out of football for a year, and on the wrong side of 30.

Ricky has been out of the NFL hopefully his stint with Canada brought him back to why he started playing the game. I hope it will give him a fresh start. If he is as good as we hope he is hewill do what good backs do, they have a couple bad seasons in the middle of their career but they learn how to fix it and finish up strong.

I think the best thing to happen to Ricky is going to play for Mike "Pinball" Clemons, and the Toronto Argos.
Pinball should be a great influence on him. And i recently attended on of the Agros practices, Ricky looked good and did what ever was asked of him never saying a word!
I can't wait to have both Ricky and Ronnie back on the same field again.

While I'm hoping to have RW and Ronnie in the same backfield, I still take RW over Ronnie today.....until Ronnie mature.

Huh? You do realize that is the only valid comparison you can make. I mean comparing two RBs at the same time in their careers is only fair.
That is common sense.

I agree with your statement, but the big difference is that RW developed to be a good one, Ronnie still a guy with potential which can swing in both ways.

Ricky was better in college..Ricky was better in New Orleans..and Ricky is better in Miami...you don't need stats to compare the 2 backs...all you gotta do is watch them play week in and week out.
I watched him when he played for the Saints and he looked totally awesome to me..you could see he was going to be special..as for Ronnie I haven't seen it yet.
Look at the last 6 games of the season last year and who was in the game at the most crucial plays...it was Ricky...Saban knows Ricky is better.
With that said are play calling has been horrible and so has our O-line play...but I'm sure if Ricky was here we would be running the ball more than 15 times a game because our running game would be more effective. And just Ricky's presence would open up the passing game which in turn would open up the running game.

I don't know about you, but I don't consider Ricky a 2nd year player anymore. I see him as an experienced veteran, who has since rushed for over 7,000 yards in this league....

If Ricky were only in his second season, then I would be willing to compare the two RB's, but he's not. He's improved much more since his 2nd season in New Orleans. I don't care about the Ricky of 2001, I care about the Ricky of 2007, because that's the Ricky we'll be getting back....

You can turn back time all you want, but today is what matters. Today, Ricky is a much more talented RB than Ronnie is, or ever will be in my opinion. Ricky could have been one of the greatest RB's the NFL has ever witnessed....

PHINZ RULE!!!!

you see how narrow minded ppl are?

they always miss the point of things.

Point is, in the same period of years and time in their careers, RB is out performing RW adn 3 years later RW became a GREAT back meaning there are some odds goign our way that RB will be a grteat back. only diff, RB can be BETTER then RW hopefully.
