He's got the franchise by the "boys" !!!!!

Not only is he running like a mad man but he runs the Wildcat like no other, literally. Every team in the NFL runs some sort of form of the Wildcat with mild success to no success. Even those stinkin' whinin' JESTS tried it last night, lol!!!!!!

Replacing RBrown the running back may not be the hardest thing in the world with great evaluators in the FO but to replace the one guy that makes the Wildcat a staple in our offense will be impossible. He's got more leverage on the franchise then any other player could right now, we may be better off re-signing him now then wait until the summer.

I can only imagine if Ronnie was let to walk away it would signify the demise of the Wildcat, his vision and decision process is incredible and is a huge reason for it's success.

I think everyone agrees here on this subject

PAY THE MAN!

He is a top 5 running back and should be paid as such.

Where are all of the Ricky > Ronnie threads/posts, and just straight up Ronnie Bashers?

I already said I'll give a few hundred dollars to keep Ronnie on the team. Anyone else down?

I don't think there is anyway this front office could let Ronnie Brown walk for nothing. This is all moot if no new CBA is reached because he would not be a free agent at year's end.

If no new contract is reached, there is no doubt in my mind they would franchise him.

ricky was way more effective than brown last night.

Ricky had a great game and has been great all season but this offense doesn't go without Ronnie. Even on Ricky's big plays out of the wildcat do you honestly think he has the same success if the Defense isn't worried about Ronnie just taking the ball himself and blasting them up the middle? We have two outstanding RB's right now and a nasty OL all is well running the ball. The point of my post though was that there have been a lot of Ronnie haters around here and they have seemingly dissapeared.

True dat...

1) Need to get Ronnie resigned.

2) Need to be thinking good/great RB in this draft or next.
