I wonder if losing Ronnie this week is really going to be a big impact or not? The Jags have an exceptional d-line that very seldom gives up any running room. While the Fins o-line has improved, they have yet to show that they can consistently run against a good run defense. I am a huge Ronnie fan, but I'm not sure that he would have a big impact in this game regardless.
It scares me to death, but I think the Fins need to plan an air attack against the Jags. Ronnie would help in pass protection and as an outlet receiver, but Morris is servicable in that role also. The Jags have also recently lost one of their best pass defenders in Darius.
Let's hope that Joey is feeling confident and that we can pull off the win and keep the streak rolling!:dolphins:

I just can't wait till the real man comes back next year who isn't injury prone and has never been on a team that sets the record for fewest rushing yards in a franchises history. RUUUUUUUUUNNNNNNNNN RIIIIIIIIIICCCCKKKKKKKKKYYYYYY RUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUNNNNN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Its funny but one of the plays the Jags defense is susceptible to is the draw out of the shotgun. I think that's one area we'll definitely miss him. I dont know if we' would use that play but its effective against the Jags. You need a RB who can make people miss in space though.

I'm thinking we go with Minor as the long yardage back and reserve Morris for short yardage and goal line situations. Minor is undoubtedly faster than Morris.

Don't count on it. I still can't believe that some of you continue to have expectations for RW. He's proven numerous times that he is predictably unpredictable.

If Garrard starts at QB we are in for trouble period. During our 4 game win streak what was the common thread of our opponents? Their quarterbacks were not mobile! Grossman, Huard, Johnson, & Kittna had little mobility and certainly no threat to run. Garrard killed us in the exhibition game with his ability to scramble and make big plays (granted it was exhibition) But since our defense has basically carried us, this game will be a huge test.

You're the antithesis of football.

They had their second stringers against our 4th and 5th string players and Garrard is a starting qb and any starting qb will be able to torch 4th and 5th stringers if we had our starting defense in he wouldn't have been nearly as successful.

Ricky's been a bit injury prone too. Ricky broke his arm this year in the Canadian league. He also cut the hell out of his foot when a door slammed on it I heard. I hear Ricky likes to walk around barefoot all the time.

Damn right we'll miss Ronnie. Morris is inconsistent catching the ball, Ronnie isnt. Minor hasnt been a dominant back ever, he isnt bad but hes not a power back who can get that extra yd when needed. Morris will fumble the ball if he gets too many carries IMO. I think some fans dont realise what weve got in Ronnie Brown. With Ricky gone and now Ronnie we are down to the bare bones. Lets hope Saban can make our Offensive gameplan suit Harrington because the game will fall on his shoulders IMO. Chambers needs to have a breakout game. Booker has already impressed me this season as has Welker and recently McMike but Chambers needs to show hes our No1 WR.

ya but now they dont really have to respect the run as much with ronnie then would have known that we would have wanted to establish the run and the go to the pass, now its goona be get at leats some yards on the ground and Joey dont make mistake and then we rely on our defense to make plays!!!!!!!
