I'm pretty positive you're right, and I know that mirrored visors are outlawed due to the fact that, in case of a concussion, or other head trauma, doctors need to be able to see the eyes. :cooldude:

Yep, I tried one out in high school when I found this SIIIIIICK blue one from oakley that was like mirrored, liek blue chrome, and since my school colors were blue and white, thought it would be NASTY-looking. It was, definately was, prolly the coolest looking Helmet/visor combo since my cousin's black helmet and facemask with a chrome gold one, but it did hinder the periphial vision, so I only ended up using it for a few games, it just didn't feel natural.

i used a clear visor during practice and it kept foggin up

Visors also help keep the backs from getting poked in the eye, a good thing for a power runner plunging through the line.

In highschool, the only visor you can wear is 0% which is clear regardless of a medical form or permission of any sort. Anybody can wear 0% and nobody can wear 1% or more.

NFL can wear whatever they want.

And I think his college mask with the visor looks the best. Must be a young person thing. That is by a long shot the most popular mask in highschool
