What did you all think about all the spinning ronnie was doing? If he can get his game down and starts seeing the field better i think those could be effective and tough on the cb's and safties. anyone else feel me??

Or he could spin right into a bone crushing, fumble causing hit.

Seriously, spin moves are good sometimes. But he spun an awful lot today. His strength is his power. He needs to use it.

He made some nice spins to avoid guys in the backfield today. He is gonna be good.

that "move" was fun to watch, and everytime he did it he got another couple of yards - any other Miami back would have been stuffed at the line. that spin is something we need behind this o-line, which also played pretty well today.

The spin near the goaline was great but a few were unecessary. Watching film this week he will recognise this and he will be better for it and he will use his power more instead of the spins to get those extra few yards.

When he ran straight for it and picked his hole in the 2nd half he looked great and always got 4-5 yards which was good to see. He corrected his approach a little bit which Lamar Gordon failed to do with his dancing problem in the backfield.

I will say this...that must be his 'move' because he sure does it often...
personally I didn't like it and he won't either soon enough. This is not your mommies college football. I did LOVE how he attacked Chump and put him out. Sabans comments about putting opponents in the whirlpool come to mind. In the post game interviews McMike I think mentioned his jucking around too.

He had a nice spin move inside denvers 10. A LB was going to smack him for a loss of yards but he spun, made the guy miss, and picked up 4 or 5 yards.

Every time he used the spin move it was necessary...I don't know what the hell you guys are watching but I saw a back with more than just power...he has some good moves and he should use them all when he needs to.

Let's see here:

Spin: Gain 3 yards.
Don't spin: Lose 3 yards.

How can you say they were unnecessary??

I agree totally.

I actually question whether that first play/spin was intended to be a flea flicker. I haven't been able to review the tape, but could someone check?

I am disturbed by his inability to see cut back lanes personally. This worries the crap out of me...

You'll get over it.

i am personally impressed with ronnie's ability to pick up the blitz. his numbers probably wernt that good, but he played a great game.
