Alot of the talk about Ronnie was that he has the power and speed, but not the vision and moves that Caddy had. Now, Caddy's vision is better, Ronnie's is still VERY good! The best example of it so far, is on Nublar's video of the Saints game. It is around 3:35 in the video. check it out...

Ronnie's vision to just weave through the defense was so sweet... its more of a run you would expect out of Caddy or Ricky, but Ronnie has shown he can do it too... (what cant this kid do?)
Oh... and did anyone see him throw on the breaks and fake out that safety? It is around 4:00 in the video...
Imagine that move when he is one on one with the safety coming at him... he throws on the breaks like that and then he is gone...

anyone else see those runs?

I'll DL it and check it in the morning Nasty. Very tired. Thanks for pointing those out so I'll keep a special eye out for them!

Yes i love when he stopped on a dime to go out of bounds and the saints guy almost fell lol

I also loved when stuttered stepped back and then burst through to gain 15
i wish i knew how to make those mini vids.. ya kno the little ones u can just post as an img

oh yeah i saw those 2, the first one i have never seen a back who could do those type of direction changes, maybe marshal faulk in his prime.

RONNIE IS A BEAST!!!

RopeWeed in 2002 could put on some jaw-dropping moves for a man that size running with that much power.

I'm very impressed with Ronnie so far (I was never one of the ones calling him a bust) but he still looks like he's jogging to me when he's out there. Not saying he doesn't look fast, maybe it's just he's waiting for his blocks to get set up? I actually think he's faster then Carnell.

I saw them Nasty, and we think alike. The play where Ronnie was going up the left sideline then stopped on a dime, althought it didn't add yardage, if that safety was the only player their, he would have taken it all the way. I couldn't believe how a 233 pound RB could stop on a dime that fast.

I noticed even when hes booking it he doesnt LOOK that fast. I think if you scaled him down to like Dunns size he would probably look like a mocking bird on speed or something.

ya... I think it is just because of how big his legs are. He just doesnt even look like he is sprinting but he is really flying...

What I love about Ronnie is that it seems as if whenever he gets a solid block and time to move, he can send it 6 yards at a minimum. I'd love to see his average YPC when the negative yardage plays are subtracted -- A lot of Ronnies runs end up being -2 or -3 because the offensive line have let guys through immediately.

Wow, I barely get to see him in action over here in Cali. Those are some nice runs though, he can really turn it upfield. Very nice footwork
