The positive thing that I took from his play, was that he didn't lose any yards. All but 1 or 2 times he gained 4 yards. Yeah he didn't have any long runs, but we just need the consistancy out of him. The big plays will come from the passing game. If Ronnie can run the ball 20-25 times for 80-100 yards, that'll be just fine.
one thing i will say is that, man he runs hard, when he hits the hole at top speed you have to feel sorry for the first guy whos brave enough to hit him, the run he had to pick up the first down, his second effort is one of the best i have seen, at least we have a back that will fight tooth and nail for every inch, yes i love this kid
Did you watch Jaxs' rush? There was no way that Ronnie should have gotten half those yards. He was explosive to say the least. Not many backs would have tallied the same numbers.
I'm impressed. This isn't factoring in the later in the game when the D-line is more tired and those YPC rack up. He was playing against fresh legs. Good job Ronnie.
Exactly, he was waiting for the blocks, I do believe he has learned some patience!! Maybe that will be the best thing he picked up from Ricky, wait for the play to develop, then kick it into second gear!! :D :D
