Rookie cornerback Vontae Davis probable for season-opener

is he going to be our nickel back (think that's Jones), or only in on dime and ST?
 
you can't hold vontae down, you can only hope to contain him
 
11 tackles in prob just over a games worth?

i think hes hte next coming of champ bailey when it comes to tackling.
 
I am certainly excited to see Davis play in a Fins jersey. I've been waiting for this since the end of Illinois' football season. This might be a biased opinion, but I really think Davis going to be a very solid DB, but I'm going to keep in mind that he is only a rookie and with Will Allen helping in his performance on the field and maturity as well, I think he has a bright future. It's going to be a really fun game to watch and definitely on of the most intriguing games on Sunday.
 
Well if he is limited, expect to see some corner blitzes from Nate Jones. Who, is very effective at blitzing.

yeah i saw that in the preseason too. he is a slippery, quick little dude and a major headache with all the other pass rushers offenses have to worry about.

Yep, he is. They ran that play a lot at the end of last year with a lot of success as well.
