Rookie Starts 2008

Saw this interesting tid bit on nfl.com and thought I would share. It is a list of all the Rookie Starts by team. There were only 6 teams that had more rookie starts than the Fins did last year. Out of those 6 only 2 of them made the playoffs (like the Fins) Arizona & Atlanta and none in the AFC. Seems to me the Trifecta are building for the future and are doing it the right way. Draft is the way to build a good team , the patriots roster has
28 drafted players , 17 rookies , 16 FA and 4 trade/waives.

also , patiorts have the most trade down or forwards in the last 10 yrs and also have had the most compensatory picks awarded team in the last 10 yrs.

Vintage Bill Parcells:
looks like the TriFecta is attempting to plug as many holes with relatively cheap, young veterans, with upside & potential to coach-up, developing their talent over a period of time. it's the way Parcells rebuilds a team.
obviously, not looking to score a knock out in free agency.
by doing so they are freed up to go after better talent (BPA) in the draft
