From what it is being said and I'm seeing certain rookies have began to make an impact and will se plenty of time during the season.

I will begin with Satele, the kid is really turning heads and will start for us at C. This guy is very versatile being able to play guard and he has real good feet. He comes from pass-happy offense and will provide with much need pass protection. He kinda ha a mean streak to him, and his attitude reminds me alot of Dwigh Stephenson, he is very Low-ki guy with one heck of a mean streak.

Next is Lorenzo Booker, the kid is gonna back-up Brown and he will see his share of touches. Booker was broght in mainly cause of his speed and elusiveness. The guy is real fast and can juke the hell out of anyone. He also has good hands, can line up at reciever and can return punts. I really like what I see from Booker and he can provide kinda of a Reggie Bush factor to are offense.

A guy who was brought in to be an immediate starter is Brandon Fields, this kid is gonna be our Punter. The guy has a real good leg and he can kick off as besides being a punter. Alot of guys had this guy as one of the best punters this year.

Another guy who has gotten alot of praise is Paul Soliai. The guy looks like a younger version of Big Kieth. He will see his snaps this season and he can really clug the middle. I expect to see some real good things from this kid.

With the recent reports of Liweinski not being starter material and the Dolphins expressing interest in Pete Kendall the LG position is up for grabs. At the last OTA Drew Mormino was with the second team o-line lining up at G. I personally think Mormino will challenge Liweinski and hopfully will win the spot. For those who have not seen tape of Mormino the guy is real good. Joe Staley said it best when he said the best lineman at Central Michigan was Mormino. Your talking about a kid who when first showed up at camp was the third C on the depth chart and now has moved his way to the back-up LG position. The guy can really be a grinder and provide us with some lanes for Brown and Booker to run. Keep an eye open for Mormino.

Last and not least Ted Ginn Jr, when Ginn becomes healthy there will be no doubt he will be the fastest player we have. The kid is gonna be our starting KR/PR and we see snaps at WR, but expect to see Ginn all over the field and provide us with lots of speed and hopefully points. Some have said Ginn is the Reggie Bush of WR and while Calvin Johnson was the number Reciever a lot had Ginn as the number two. I know there is alot invested in him and big expectations, but Ginn has been under looked before and has really stepped up.

While I wish all our Rookies would immediately step in, some require time to develop like John Beck and Regan Mauia, but both seem to have very bright futures and are very talented. Others like Kelvin Smith and Abraham Wright showed big time for their teams in college and were great leaders and we will be very lucky if they are steals. One thing is true alot of our rookies are beginning to make an impact and will see plenty of time on the field.

Nice post, i also believe our rookies will have a great impact this season. This could potentially be one of our greatest drafts. Time will tell.

And it should be mentioned that the TX Wright is a rookie, and he would have been a high draft choice if not for the injured shoulder, he has lost weight as well.

Jason Allen may as well be considered a rookie, new position and little playing time last year, now he is a corner back so we shall see about him.

In the last 3 years, we have had our best drafts since Jimmuh left town. And that is with Jason Allen riding the pine most of last year.

On opening day, we may have 2 or more rookie starters,
along with Fields punting.

Excellent point. Allen has been turning heads lately, but we have to see if the continues once the pads come on. Wright Im really excited about, he was a beast in college and I still cant figure how he lasted to the 7th.

I still say my sleeper is Mormino, he could very well be our opening day starter at LG.

I think the biggest impact rookie will no doubt be Ted Ginn. He's going to bring so much to the table that we haven't seen in Miami for a long time...maybe ever. If he gets us just one KR TD and one PR TD he's already impacted this team. Not to mention he is a threat to score a TD everytime he touches the ball....plus, Cameron will devise so many ways to get him the ball. It should be fun to watch.

I don't think Mormino will win the LG spot. I think that spot will be won by Liewenski or Satele. I think Mormino has a much greater chance of winning the LG position if Satele wins the C position.

The other rookies who could make an impact are Lorenzo Booker and Paul Soliai. Watch out for this Kelvin Smith guy on Special Teams. Reading some of the material on him around the draft, they say he has a motor like Zach Thomas. He could be a real impact player on Special Teams.

John Beck is another guy to no forget. If Beck plays very well this season, don't be surprised to see him be inserted into the starting lineup around the midway point or before---a la Cutler, Leinart, or Young. I think that is a good formula....learn in TC, Preseason and 1st half...come in and see what you have the last half to improve for next year.

the first long yardage play with teddy ginn and lorenzo booker on the field, LOOK OUT! (no slight to ronnie - a fast guy in his own right).

Look I'm excited about our draft class as well but really....... they haven't even put on pads yet.

How exactly are they "making an impact" already.

Well from all the reports I have read it seems like Satele is winning the C position. Now on Mormino Liweinski last year got beat by a Rookie, and I wouldnt be surprise to see it happen again. We want fast and strong G and Mormino is a fast kid, Im just saying keep an eye out cause I remember him at the rookie camps lining up with the third team and now he has been moved to the second time and is seeing time at G, behind a certain somebody who is not Starter material. Mormino could be a sleeper, and that is something we need alot of help in....

This could turn out to be a very good draft class. QB, WR, C, G, 3rd down back, DT, & P. All could contribute within this year and next.

You forgot FB, by the way alot say keep an eye on Kelvin Smith on special teams and Im gonna go a little further. Regan Mauia and Cory Schlesinger on Special Teams are gonna be to battling Rams. Keith Armstrong is a good ST coach and he must be drueling over the fact that these two guys are gonna be opening holes for Teddy Ginn.
