He is now saying Thompson is the player who has shown himself...also Derek Lee was impressive and they showed him making a catch then they showed Spielman making notes on Lee.

Drew's show sucked ass this week. NO mention of Sammy Knight, just talk about his bs client Griese, Portis, and Thompson and Lee. Down with Rosenhaus!
Tidbits
-About three quarters of league GMs feel Griese will start in Miami
-Many coaches Drew has talked to, feels Griese is better than Fiedler
-Answering to Wanny, It was a prediction so he can't be wrong
-Mike Shula's departure is a loss. But Norv Turner will be doing alot more pointing out. Mike was Norv's right hand man.
-One player that stood out was Thompson in camp, he has GREAT hands. He is in a dog fight with McKnight
-Donald Lee was flat out impressive, very athletic. Spielman wrote down that the kid can FLAT-OUT play. Big and can run, will play alot for the Dolphins this year. More impressive than McMichael was last year in mini camp.
-Clinton Portis may fire agent. For the next three years, he'll make around the minimum per year with no incentives.

Good point Muck. Freeman is his agent and he knows Miami will not pay big bucks for Freeman next year when he becomes a FA again. This is great because if Knight starts not many teams will see what Freeman can do and he had interest from 2 or 3 teams this year...think about it next year when noone sees him play. This can only be for the better.
Then again, Marion might be on the way out. And how Freeman handles the demotion and peforms on the field will determine if he replaces Marion. Hopefully he'll stick around regardless.

Once again, Drews Views deserve less attention than the opinions of Muriel Abramowitz over in Aventura. At least Muriel can give an honest opinion. Drew's comments however are driven by whatever will make him more more money. Drew the agent is awsome for his clients...Drew the person is a scumbag...just read his book. Oh, and check it out from the library...no reason to give the guy MORE money.
