Ross contacts Martin

Would anyone be shocked if Martin came back and shot up the place at some point, the guy is not well.
 
He ain't stupid. With an impending lawsuit, better make nice and send out words of encouragement before you rip his story to shreds with an army of high priced lawyers.
 
I am sure Martin's parents were monitoring the call.
 
The owner sends a text when something this big is happening...really!?
 
Damn I just got baited into clicking a link to a Shefter article...NOT COOL BRO! I'm kind of relieved though, when I saw Shefter's name there I thought Ross sent a hate message to J.Martin... Something like "I will kill you you fking *****!"

Don't think that's his only motivation. I think he wants to hear what really happened, not the media's opinion, and if the coaches were involved in a cover up or if Martin tried to come to them and was rebuffed. Only Ross knows what the coache's stories are and now he wants to see who is lying. Ross is no fool. He will methodically gather all the info and then make his move. He's just doing what any smart businessman would do in this situation. If I had to bet, some of the coaches and the GM have been involved in a cover up. Adios Ireland and probably Joe for being asleep at the wheel.

Agreed. I think that's why he immediately went to the NFL for an outside investigation. Mr. Ross, he no trust Jefflon and Dawny to tell the truth.
 
The owner sending him a 'text' is pretty lame. Call the guy and talk to him!!!! Better yet, fly out to California and meet with him.

My guess is that he is NOT picking up the phone or meeting with anyone right now, under advice from his par... attorneys.

Couldn't agree more, Ross is more concerned with how the organization is portrayed because of this mess than the well being of his high priced employee.....pick up the phone and make sure he is ok and promise you will get to bottom of this....wouldn't hurt if the GM made a call as well.....good to hear Philbin went to the hospital to see him as soon as this went down.....

The tweet was probably sent by his adm asst.....
