Ross gives McDaniel vote of confidence?

Being a delusional "good fan" doesn't give anyone license to enter into conversations and bring nothing but insults to the thread.

Which is what you and a few others have done for years.

You've gotten better, but you all deserved every bit of **** I've given you this year and Finheaven is a better place becuase of it.

I'd do it all again if I had the chance.
Have you read your posts over the last few days? I suggest you go back and do so because you have insulted and yes....even used the term moron to describe other posters multiple times

You are deluding yourself about being a victim or that you have improved this place

The sad part is that you don't have to behave the way you do to be able to talk football......but you actually want the attention the drama creates

He attacks optimists, then justifies it by saying “All of you tried to run me off when I intervened with ‘realism!’”
Well, I actually do think there's a faction of posters who get out of hand with the insults when guys like @MrChadRico posts things that are critical, but fair and accurate.

I mean let's be honest here. We haven't even sniffed a playoff win for decades. There have been, and are issues with the team.

Rico gets out of hand at times too. I think he has acknowledged that. Hell, I get out of hand sometimes when something strikes me the wrong way.

Sometimes, I even regret it.......lol.

McDaniel was never on the hotseat with Ross.. just the fans. McRackhead was always going to be here next season.

I would be shocked if he did let him go since he just gave him a new contract this season. Would you pay $20,000 for a car and just let it go for nothing in 6 months?
Depends. If I am a multi billionaire and don't like the car sure. McDaniel’s salary is a drop in the bucket for Ross. I don't think Ross will fire McDaniel but the contract isn't the reason why.

Meh. That was Rico a year ago. Rico of the last 3 months is a troll who spams threads. That is why people attack him so much now. He has lost any credibility to be a so called realist. Throw in that he has on multiple times said he was going to stop with his mission or whatever he calls it, just to start right back the next day.

Everyone gets out of hand at times like you say when things happen. But that isn't Rico at this point, he constantly goes looking for it, then whines about being attacked. He is like the guy who walks into an Irish Pub makes fun of Irish people then wonders and crys about getting his ass kicked.

Wow, took longer than expected for the oh **** we won and hurt our draft position brigade.
The funny thing is I don't think they even pay attention to were we stand in the draft. We dropped from 11 to 12 I believe. We were never going to pick inside the top 9 as those teams all are awful and have 4 wins or less. So no matter how many wins or losses it has always been between 10 to 18 if we miss the POs.

Its because they are lazy .....

Can't & won't disagree.

Rico IMO is like Bob Terwilliger.....

It hasn't been about the draft at all...

There are many reasons people get to be fans...

Some just like to be on the winning side and switch teams according to who's been dominating lately... You won't find these people on a Fins message board.

When talking about Fins fans specifically, it's either locals, people that like to root for underdogs or people that were part of the latter category, became miserable and found out they got a kick out of being right when predicting failure.

Rico is definitely part of that last category... I've never seen someone so obsessed with telling everyone he was right. And getting pissed off that people genuinely don't ****ing care.

Hi Chad.

Calling people “delusional,” whether you realize it or not, is an insult. It’s an attack.

Maybe knock it the **** off, if you don’t like getting treated the exact same way.

You deserve every single thing you’ve gotten, and in my opinion, Finheaven is not better for what you’ve been doing. You just somehow feel it’s more just for people who want to do nothing but **** on the team and pass it off as “realism.”

You keep on doing you. I’m not going anywhere, and will keep doing my thing.

They should keep McDaniels, the only thing that held this team back was the backup QB posistion
From squeaking into the playoffs and getting smacked? This team hasn't had an oline this millenia, can't cover TEs and plays soft defence that forgets how to tackle.

I'm okay with giving McDaniel another year but a new GM is necessary.

Chad Rico has a point though, there's one thing to be happy with a win, but delusional and not see those type of wins for what they are and being intelligent enough to realize how we won those games is why we perennially lose to good teams. Nothing really looked good from that game, other than a few individuals. 49ers are not a good team and they are severely affected by injuries. Tua looked like the same same ole and got outplayed by Purdy significantly in total yardage while having a worse offensive line protection, arguably worse receiving core, and played against the better defense statistically speaking. All excuses we use for Tua when we play against a good team but it's clear elite QBs can play through that like Burrow who has far worse supporting cast and is far superior individually than both QBs tonight. Purdy like Tua can't win without an all star cast and we are paying Tua a KING size contract while not having the assets and drafting ability to surround him with a Super Bowl cast. We are at best going to be a perennial play off contender 1st/2nd round but that's it. It's not hard to see from play calling to individual QB ability that they don't get it. Had we played a winning team yesterday we lose. Who gives a **** about beating mediocre teams when we've been doing just that for over a decade and falling short when it matters or against good teams when it matters? Either way the realist who sees it shouldn't blow a gasket over the mediocrity and just let it happen because eventually, it will go on long enough (the mediocrity) that we will replace those that have to be replaced and we see who's next on the reins for the team. Hopefully this white elephant team doesn't stay the way it is for too long.

Meh……..

If fans want to be happy about the team they are a fan of, winning a game then let them do so
