Ross in tha house

After this season, I would be on my way to a tropical paradise if i was Ross.

So much for Marino being an adviser:

Jeff Darlington ‏@JeffDarlington 2m
Marino hasn’t even so much as gotten a phone call in wake of season’s end to gauge his opinion. That’s a failure to utilize resources

I agree with Darlington here, He says when he was approached in 2004 about a position, Marino wasn't in the right place in his life to do so. You GOT to call Marino. He's the only thing that can bring a fan connection. We have a owner who lives in NY and a baseball CEO. Bring in some god damn people who bleed aqua & orange.

Jim Turner just left Dolphinsland. Not carrying any boxes, FWIW.

Probably just doing exit interviews today with the season over.

To be honest, I'm starting to think at this point that the best case scenario would be Philbin convincing Ross that the problem was talent. Because once Ireland is gone, the chips will fall. Slowly, but they will fall.

The more I think about it the more I accept that when Ireland was retained and Philbin hired it was a 3 year plan and Ross was convinced to let it play out.

I'm fine with that, but then he should come out and say that and commit to selling the team if it does not work. He should be on the hook for not managing year to year.

I don't buy it because the reports of friction between Ireland and Philbin are far too frequent and from too many sources for me to think they are just hot air.

I don't know what to think, but for the life of me I can't understand how Ireland and Philbin will both be brought back. Ros... really is a moron, isn't he?

This team manages to piss all of us off CONSTANTLY. It's like that's what the Dolphins exist for. Just a bunch of embarrassment and annoyance. I SWEAR. MADDENING horrible ownership. I hate every single f ing thing about the front office and the coaches right now.
