Said it in his presser. Said it was his decision to choose parker. Lol
 
not saying you are wrong but I think parker was everyones top priority. he did talk about how he feel in love with about a month ago. the behind the scenes vid showed everyone real tense until clevland selected Shelton then everyone celebrated.

of course he would. but I only heard him say that was the guy he wanted, as in hoping we would get him, not force us to get. none the less we got our guy
 
Ross probably could not tell u anything about parker except he is black, they drafted him and he went to louisville lol.
 
If true then I wish he would've stepped in for today's debacle.

I doubt it , I think Ross sits in and doesn't voice his opinion but does hear what his staff has to say about these guys . Ross is as big a dolphins fan as anyone here . He OWNS the team , his name is tied to their success or failures . Honestly I like Ross as an owner . He's the owner not a GM nor coach nor scout .
 
Keep the GD owner out of the decisions. It's like a lawyer that represents himself or a doctor who operates on himself. The old saying a lawyer who represents himself has a fool for a client. Protect yourself against yourself. If Ross makes the decisions we will have a roster full of that safety number 44 who's a stiff and can't play.
 
Ross took credit for Suh too, lol. Well, if he has been the de facto GM, he's done a better job than Ireland so far

Ross didn't make that decision . I doubt he has two GMs so that he could go in and say who he wants . I mean it could be but that would be really mind boggling
 
I don't want the guys in the room biased toward another Michigan stiff in Jake Ryan just to please Steve Ross.
 
From everything I've heard and seen, seems like these guys are actually on the same page. I like Stephen Ross. He gets **** done and he shows that he really cares about the fins. I'm excited that he's happy in the direction the team is headed. For that reason, in the presser, he took all credit. He didn't say we. Not really a big deal, was just something I noticed and thought twice about.
