I'm half expecting this from Ross: “I never said that McCoy, Philbin and Bowles were our only candidates, they were just the only candidates we could talk to at the time. Several of the candidates we are going to look at are in ball games this weekend. So we have to wait for these results to talk to them. Chuck Pagano, Perry Fewell, Kevin Gilbride, Greg Roman, Vic Fangio, Josh McDaniels, Cam Cameron ... I'm kidding about those last two ... wait, what's that? Carl and Jeffy are telling me that they are actual candidates. Ahem. OK then. Anyway, Jeff Ireland and I talked about it from the beginning that we have a plan in place, and we have a good set of candidates. Our candidates are outstanding. Heh, hard to say that with a straight face, you know, after the Cameron thing. I mean, that was the guy, right? 2007? Seriously, I should consider him. Billick cost me $40 million, but think how much Cameron saved me by losing all those games, if the Dolphins weren't a dumpster fire Wayne maybe doesn't even sell the thing, who knows? Jeffy, get that Cameron guy on the phone. I'm gonna send him a Rolex. At the end of the day, we’ll find the right guy that will hopefully be in the Hall of Fame someday. I like the candidates we are considering. ”

From what I have heard, McCoy has really impressed Ross and the FO in his interviews. I think regardless of who we hire, we should support him. The Broncos haven't had alot to work with since McDaniels gutted the team. Other than Royal the Bronco's haven't had many great receivers, and their O-line is probably worse than ours. They have Ryan Clady and not much else. I think even more than getting a good coach, we need to find a franchise QB, and then put the rest of the pieces into place.

Agreed. Things have been eerily quiet on the coach front today. I wonder what they have up their sleeve
