The whole interview he did not mention jeff ireland once. Only praised philbin and put his faith in philbin. Zero mention of ireland. That says alot to me
 
Goodbye Richie and Jeff!!! Philbin will stay! Im glad he deservee it been through a lot last few years
 
Honestly, logistically how can you fire Ireland and not Philbin also. I would assume it makes sense to hire a new GM and have HIM decide on everything going forward! No? Isn't that how it's suppose to work?
 
Maybe he feels that Jeff Ireland keeps puttin the wrong personnel on the team?

That's exactly how its supposed to work. You let the new GM hire the coach he wants.
 
That may be because he sees Ireland as divorced enough from this situation as to be irrelevant.

Did he voluntarily speak of Philbin or was he asked a question about Philbin?

He mentioned Joe Philbin repeatedly before even taking questions. Clear statement of support for the coach, IMO.
 
The fact that Ireland hasn't shown his face (or hasn't been allowed to) since this whole mess started is very telling. Dead man walking, IMO.
 
Ireland will be fired within two minutes of the Ted Wells report being finalized. He is so done it's not even a point of speculation, IMO. Get a body bag and a tag with his name on it ready.
 
Ross basically has a love affair with Philbin lol "he's one of the highest character people I have ever met" he went on and on. I like Philbin but Ross can't make an unbiased decision on Philbin he definitely needs advisement
