He did not shoot the Deputy. Maybe a PR move for FH posters and other Phans to save money on planes, maybe not.

However, you want the best GM to come in and take over this mess, and you tell him that you are looking to hire a Czar, who he will answer to, and a HC he will have to deal with.

Oh yeah, no problem but, Are you FRAKIN Nuts?

What mess, which czar?

Just heard on the NFL Network that Gaine was the likely replacement for Ireland. They had Bill Polian talking about how he was very well respected around the league and had the credentials to do the job.

I can't take Armando seriously. Can you?

No way in hell but, the Boston Globe and others make up for him, or give him the things to try and write. :)

HOWEVER, we cannot ask for Mondo to be fired. With Sherman and Ireland gone, there would be no one for many to pick on until the first preseason game. lol

Yeah, and the really good guys want control.

Ross shot the sheriff, but ross swore it was in self-defense

Yeah, all those empty seats with his "celeb idea's" had to reason for self-defense. What the hell was he thinking?

If I had to guess, the czar thing is dead now that Ireland is gone. It was a way to relieve Ireland of responsibility without firing him. Ross is simply going to hire a GM now. And I wouldn't say the new GM has 'no' input on the head coach. The GM will have an offseason to straighten out personnel on the team and then a season to evaluate whether Joe is the guy. The new GM's fate will not be tied to Philbin's. He may be 'saddled' with Philbin for one year, but the GM's job is to work on the long-term issues.
