BUT HE DI NOT SHOOT THE DEPUTIES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I posted this after he fired Ireland, and he is doing the same F'n thing again. Does the man learn nothing from dumb mistakes of doing too little? Firing just Philbin does little of nothing for this year, and many players have said the same. He may have appeased some casual fans, who don't know any better and think Philbin did tons more than he did but, resolved nothing in turning the season around. He would have accomplished more in firing himself.

When will this nightmare end?

You can't fire everybody 4 weeks into the season. Let's be real here.

It's definitely problematic, which is why he should have fired Philbin after last year's train wreck ending. But Regardless, Ross is always half-measuring everything. And he just keeps adding consultants, assistants, vice assitants, assistants to the vice assistants, etc. It's a buracratic mess. I couldn't imagine working for him.

So much for that stability bs. He extended Philbin and then hired a czar who will clean house and get his guys.

Philbin needed to be fired to salvage any respect for this franchise. Imagine if his clown show would have continued.
Regarding the assistants, and coordinators, signing Saunders is a great move under the circumstances. Hopefully he will call the plays too.
On defense, it is more difficult because of Coyles scatter brain scheme. I believe the team is working on a replacement and exploring all options that will work with what we have.
One thing is clear, adding experienced coached, vocal grey beards, is what is needed.

I feel like they want to move on from Coyle, but they haven't found someone to replace him with. So that's why it's a "fluid" process, they'll keep looking and hopefully something can be arranged.

Sooooo ... We're looking for fluid people?

Let me put this in my perspective, FWIW

If you had a problem with OG's, LT, CB, etc, the problem was with Tannenbaum/Hickey.

If you had a problem with the scheme and play calls on D, the problem was with Coyle.

If you had a problem with the scheme and play calls on O, the problem was with Lazor.

If you had a problem with the lack of emotion on the team, the problem was with Philbin.

If you had a problem with players, one one one, losing battles consistently and not blocking, tackling, throwing and catching, the problem was with players.

Which problems did you want addressed?

OP do you really think that if we got rid of our dc and hc we become a playoff contender? The worst defense in the league becomes what we thought out could be?

I'd our online going to start blocking for tannehill?

The answer is no. This team is a bottom feeder and in 12 games everyone is getting fired and tannenbum it's hitting someone that would have a chance at a head coaching job because no one wants to work for Ross and tannenbum and dawn. Unless they make whomever it it's the highest paid coach in the nfl

No more now than last week. In my mind, the Philbin firing does little of nothing, and many players have said the same. Maybe a good PR move to show an emotional guy in Campbell but, that is gonna get old real quick with players who were bitching and moaning of practices being too tuff and affecting their game.
