“We didn’t win, so to me it was a surprise,” he said of that 38-24 loss to New England on Monday night. “We were there. I think our team, at this point after one game, we’re still very optimistic. I think what was perceived as our biggest weakness, the quarterback situation, that was very positive as probably our best strength of the game Monday night.

“We played a great team. Our defense, which was supposed to be so good, I think allowed way too many yards, probably an NFL record. I think that could be fixed.”

 I hope the D catches wind of this one. You mad, defense? Good.

He stated what we all thought. Not a shot at all.

I think the premise is that he's saying they were overhyped "supposed to be so good", "supposed to be" being the key words... Sounds like sarcasm to me.

I think you're reaching on this one. Dude just spoke the obvious...

Take it up with Mike Berardino and the Sun-Sentinel then, I simply posted an article and agreed with it.

Berardino reached himself with this one. Trying to make a story on a non story.

I love how the headline says Ross "rips" the defense. There was no "rip" in what he said. Poor headline.

I agree, some do go a weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee bit overboard on the headlines in articles or posts buy hey, they have their internet moment. Its like a feeding frenzy after that.

Berardino never used the word ripped, or portrayed anything in a negative light. Your thread title made out the article to be something it clearly wasn't. You simply misinterpreted the tone of the article...

a better topic to discuss would have been how Omar Kelly repeatedly groups all Dolphins fans as being sorry. I'm about tired of this generalized b.s.!
