Ross warns new owner will move team without renovations

Move the team to orlando and become the Orlando Mickey Mouses. I am sure disney would LOVE all the marketing.

orlando is every bit as bad at supporting teams as Miami, if not worse...there is no land in orlando unless you plan on moving more people from paramore into pine hills or other locations...plus you want to put people on I4 to get them out of a stadium...the streets cant handle the traffic...

Its called taxes. We all pay them. Rich people shouldn't be excluded. Its what pays for the services we all rely on.

Im sure a stadium would run great without police.

Seeing as how the Heat and Marlins are not paying taxes, i guess they don't have police at their games/events?

Here’s something to think about.
Let’s take a trip in the way-back machine kids ! It’s the early 90’s and the NFL decides that JAX & Carolina get awarded franchises. The City of CLE and the voters have already put the wheels in motion for the Gateway complex; new baseball stadium & arena. Feeling slighted (IMHO justifiably so) Art Modell starts signaling he’s willing to move the Browns (David left that NFL owners meeting with the BAL pitch team). No one in CLE believes the Browns can possibly move, after all they’re the BROWNS. “We’re 50mi from the HoF! How can you not have a team playing in CLE. ” Every politician assured the fans that it could never happen. Remain calm, all is well !
Then, after Gateway opens and is a smashing success, Modell decides he’s had enough. No deal is going to be enough and he’s in real financial trouble (of his own making BUT still real). Obviously SunLife isn’t the toilet that old CLE Muni was BUT it is over 20yrs. old and not getting any younger.
There are at least 10 cities that will give a new owner, or Ross anything he wants.

They can't relocate the team to a new site because that would invalidate years of highly secret Air Force research.

Prob move from the Gardens to a more downtown MIA locale, not out of state.. right??

where downtown? where is there land and highway infrastructure to support a stadium?

If anything hes going further north to get as many people as possible in the 90 mile radius bubble...currently there arent a whole lot of people to the south...
