Teams have to be at 75 players on Tues. No big deal, we have to cut five.

However, we're getting to the point where teams may want to make a trade or two in order to give the new player some time to fit in. One of the announcers mentioned it during the game.

Who do you project as a final cut who may have a little trade value? Last year, we would have been lucky to get a ham sandwich for all out cuts. :(

I don't even think we have 80 players, so not sure we have to cut 5.

Four players left the team because they couldn't handle it, and they cut Eric Green.

I know they added the konawelskigytioni kid who is the Fullback that caught the TD last night, but the Dolphins are close to the 75 player number as it stands.

And that Fullback won't make the team anyway. There's no way he beats out any of the 5 backs in Brown, Williams, Cobbs, Polite and Hilliard.

That Robinson kid we signed from the CFL hasn't done anything either. He is just camp fodder. So there you go.

Actually, the first cut down day is the following Tuesday(September 1st) after the Buccaneers game. Also, since we only have 78 players on the roster, we only have to make 3 moves.

I think one player that COULD be moved via trade is Lex Hilliard. I hope they don't just release and would like to see him make the roster, but if they get say a 5th round offer for him, I think they move him. I would have said Jason Allen before, but I think with the release of Green, he is going to make this team. Quentin Moses could be a guy who gets shopped also.

We did well last year with late camp trades. We shipped Travis Daniels to the Browns for a 7th round pick and shipped Josh McCown to the Panthers for a 7th round pick.

I know,as of right now,we could get a 6th,maybe a 5th out of Hilliard(we ARENT keeping 4 RBs and 3 TEs or 2 FBs)

We could get a 4th or a 5th out of J.Allen,but w/ Green gone,hes here by deault.

And....really,theres no REAL trade value player we have that wont make the cut...tell you the truth....other than Lex....

Ok Nublar, if we have 3 roster moves then we can cut Armstrong, Konawelenskowki, and the Robinson WR from the CFL who has done absolutely nothing so far.

Maybe they will cut Williams to make a point after that awful game he had last night. Like they made the point to cut Green last week.

You also know they are going to cut Kimble.

he sucks.

Actually, there are plenty more players we can cut who totally stink. It will be very easy for the team to get down to 75.

Getting to 75 players will not be hard at all. A lot of names come to mind that we know won't be here. Anthony Kimble the 5th string running back could easily be one of the three. I think after the third preseason game they will make a final decision on the kicking job and cut the other guy before the last preseason game. Chris Williams is another guy who should be gone soon.

thats a little strong.Although I do expect him cut,I wouldnt say Konawelenskowki has done absolutely nothing.Since hes been signed, hes been consistantly showing good hands.

I mean Omar Kelly was raving about him being one of the best sure-handed backs in camp.He even caught a TD pass from Henne yesterday.

Oh please, he caught a pass versus Carolina's 3rd team defense who will be working for UPS like he will next week.. Big F'in deal.

We will not keep so many backs. Like I said there is no room for him with Brown, Polite, Williams, Cobbs and Hilliard way ahead of him.

Same for the crappy Kimble.

If we end up trading Hilliard, maybe trade him and LB C. Anderson to the RB starved
straight up for ILB A. Davis.

I dont think were cutting Williams just yet.Something let me know by Sparanos reaction(he went over and put his foot in Chris's ars....whenever you mess up,and a coach doesnt put his foot in your ars, then you worry) from when Chris headbutted the ball, that Chris will get one last chance next week.

One thing about Konawelenskowki that I cannot say for Polite...I actually noticed him blocking in the hole...

I think he's a goner....Sparano said Williams was going to return everything....at least until a ball bounced off his face, then Bess stepped it.

This is such a non issue.

The real issue will be when we cut down from 75 to 53 in two weeks.

That's when this talk should start, not now.

I never said we were going to keep him....infact I said the complete opposite.Did you even read what I wrote?:err:
