Two bad throws does not a season make big nuts. He looked great last week, why don't you give one of the best QBs of all time the benefit of more than a quarter before laughing at him?

As in manning. Just threw 2 picks in the first 3 min of the game.

His name is spelled Peyton... Hence the jokes from Gonzo.

So kneejerk reactions are only bad if it's a negative critique of a Dolphins player. Gotcha. We can totally disregard the clinic he put on against one of the league's best defenses last week.

One of the signs of a great NFL QB is the ability to brush off mistakes. Peyton has shown his whole career that he can do that. Hopefully Tannehill will do the same. From the little bit we've seen so far, I'm hopeful. He didn't play scared after the tipped passes last week (he just kept making the same rookie mistakes that caused the tipped passes in the first place), so I'm hopeful. He doesn't get rattled like Joan Beck would.

make that three picks. dont be a hater because real fans wanted to rebuild the team with rookie qb not a stop gap senior citizen.

Great player, one of the greatest ever. But he's only human.

He is going to have weeks like this. We saw it with Dan at the end.

First, grown men don't say hater. Second, who cares? He's having a bad night. Doesn't make him a bad QB. Hell, Dan Marino (or is it Mareno?) had multiple 5 INT games. Dude clearly was a horrible QB. If you think Peyton sucks as a QB because he's thrown a few INTs tonight, you don't know the first thing about football.

Third, most people are fine with going with the rookie QB so long as we addressed the most important position in football with some sense of urgency. We did that, so I'm not sure where all this "hater" (again, grown men don't say that) nonsense is coming from.

Clearly this is an aberration and he'll either bounce back tonight or soon enough. Hell, even Dan has had some stinkers. I will admit considering the way he gave his second home's team the cold shoulder, I am enjoying his rare crapping of the bed.

However, given that, instead of leasing a still skillful-downwardly spiralling hired gun and forestalling the inevitable, I'm kind of happy with the way things are working out for us, regardless.

Manning will lead Denver to a win tonight.

I'm not counting on that. That ATL offense is too good to give too much of a cushion to.

Sorry, I meant to use "two" throughout that last sentence.
