Roth - He Signed?

Hi peeps. I understand Ronnie hasnt signed a long term deal yet, just a tender to take part in off season programmes.

But what about Roth. This guy is going to be class on the field. Has he signed a deal yet though?

If so i might get a Roth jersey.

None of our picks have signed contracts yet, just the tenders. You probably won't start to see them sign until Late June(at the earliest). Brown probably won't sign until the week before TC.

I have a bad feeling about Brown. He knows we need a RB and that might mean he holds out for ALOT of money.

I don't think that will happen just because Brown seems like a down to earth guy, plus his agent(France) has a good history at not being a punk(Like Rosenhaus).

Exactly. NFL contracts are COMPLICATED. They take a lot of time, Ronnie is a good guy and I've heard good things about his agent. I assure you he won't miss any practice or playing by holdling out.

They'll come to terms without major issues.

Most likely a day or two after Alex signs with SF, then they should all fall in order more or less.Isn't that how it normally goes?

It sounds like Shaun Alexander sat out of their recent camp.....would you guys think it would be worth taking him off of Seattle's hands or should we stay pat with Ronnie Brown??? Brown and Alexander would be a killer backfield combo.

No chance in hell. Not only would that destroy our cap, we already have too many RBs right now.

And trust me, Seattle doesnt want us to take em off there hands. Theyd probably want next years 1st.

He's the number two pick, of course it'll take a bunch of money to get him. I doubt he holds out very long though. I'd love to have him suited up and in minicamps.
