Roth to the Browns

It is official, as if you go the Browns website their top story is they were awarded Roth from waivers. Thank god the Pats can not use him to cheat.

This is why I don't get the move. If we just keep him and let him go at the end of the season he counts towards comp picks when someone else signs him. I don't see the benefit to dropping the guy, if he started to play better then the higher the contract he signs elsewhere and the better the comp pick we get.

My guess is there must have been some serious motivation to cut him... as in... YOU'RE FIRED!!! GET OUT OF HERE NOW!!!

Logic I like it.

Man...we are just scared to death of the Patriots, aren't we.

Yes, they suck and all, but we're all just waiting for Bellicheck to pop out with a hockey mask on aren't we?

****ing amazing.

Signing a cut player to gain an advantage over a division foe is not uncommon in the NFL. If New England would have gotten a shot at Roth I would bet Bill would have signed him. A chance to learn all of our blitz packages two weeks before the biggest game of the season for both teams.

If they thought he was valuable enough, they would get him. Roth's not the sharpest knife in the drawer. I'm quite aware of what goes on.

You know what happens when a player is signed to a divisional foe?

Just asking.

They have all the game film on us, they can't get info of game plans from a player that's not here to see them.

I like it when teams want our garbage, it shows us how much better we are when people go through our trash.

Wow. I guess I've been really out of touch. I didn't even know we cut Roth.

I think I could tell you most of our blitz packages and none of them work unless we send a DB.
Roth couldnt tell anyone anything they dont already know
