Of course everyone remembers Roth throwing down Plummer after the first int. But the second time was even better. The last play when Taylor got the fumble recovery for a TD. Plummer tries to come up from behind to get Taylor and Roth levels him out into our sideline. It was awesome. As soon Roth saw him he went right after him. Priceless. It's good to see a rookie getting into the head of a pro.

I didn't like that at all. There was no need to hit plummer like that. I like his enthusiasm but I also hate dirty plays, and that was dirty. He hit him from behind

Oh it wasn't dirty............he threw him.......it's not like the hit Warren Sapp put on Chad Clifton.

He's one devious mofo that's for sure...........I was crackin' up, seemed like Plummer was Roth's marked man.

so what about that hit on our boy Gus that was uncalled for also.

After all is said and done I really like the toughness that Plummer plays with for such a small guy...He really plays with guts...After the 1st time Roth leveled him Jake didn't back down from Roth but just kept jawing at him...Which is crazy but the little guy has heart.

The announcer said it was behind, but it didn't look like it was from behind to me. The best part to me was when Frerotte was going off on Roth and Roth didn't even acknowledge him, he just kept walking away.

That's why Roth did it. Not once but twice. It's good to see our players sticking up for each other.

The hit that Gus took was legal because it was from the side and not from the back. Gus made the mistake of trying to move over to that side and that makes it a legal hit, if Gus would have just stood there and not moved, then thats a foul. There is a difference.

I just went back and watched that, I didn't realize it was Roth cutting back to block. I thought Plummer was just gassed after the play...maybe it was the block. He definatly saw it coming...and probably regreted his harsh words earlier :rofl3:
Screps, I don't want to be a homer, because it was illegal, but it wasn't "that dirty" it was a push not a hit and was wrong as hell, but i sure did like the message of unity on the team that it represented.

Well Plummber did the same thing... he made the attempt to make a tackle, thus he now became a defender...

so in this case, there is no difference.
