My buddy goes to university of Iowa and he was tellin me Roth is the source of a campus urban legend, as many Hawkeyes talk of the time Roth challenged and cleared out an entire bar in a fight

I remember reading about this when we drafted him. I also heard he ripped a players face mask off..don't know if it's true or not but without a doubt he's a tough mofo.
I watched a interview with J. Smiley and he was asked if he was in a dark alley who would he want beside him. He said he would want Matt.
 
well im glad roths on our team..look forward to him nailin qb's for many years to come, and it was robert gallerys facemask he ripped off i believe?
 
Can you imagine what this guy would be like if he had speed???

Man I think he'd be the best defender in the nfl...

Yeah nosleep, crazy that he has for sure, but just think if you added speed to the crazy and his strength all together...he would be unstoppable.
