Glad that Sanders won but since PS is 10 players now hope we keep Joseph on PS incase Sanders face plants.

The shot from Roto drives me crazy but guess all we can do is prove them wrong!

Why do does everyone get so worked up when the media takes a shot about the team being lousy? Honestly, who gives a damn? If you want the media to shut up or say positive things regarding the team, then they need to start winning football games. It is not complicated -- respect is earned, not given.

I don’t give a hell what the media says, but it’s going to be fun to see us beat Tennessee and their golden child Marriotta.

Rotoworld never likes anything Miami. Its a clear agenda they have

I never understand the thought of using a practice squad spot on a kicker. What would be the benefit? If Sanders fails just re-sign Joseph at a later date. Even if he's one another team's practice squad you could still sign him. The only way you couldn't get him is if he's already on a 53 man roster, and adding him to the PS doesn't prevent a team from putting him on their 53 man roster.

That’s a good point, I suppose I wonder if he would be signed to another PS or just move on from kicking all together since he wouldn’t have a job.

As a go-to source, Rotoworld has morphed into the equivalent of a basement blogger.. Bleacher Reports has surged way ahead of them.

I'm not saying he would quit kicking or stop chasing his dream. Just that the practice squad is used to continue training a player to enhance their skills and get them comfortable with your system. It also gives you extra bodies in practice which are valuable due to injuries that keep some players from practicing during the season. I don't see how having an extra kicker around in practice really helps and there's no system for them to learn. If Sanders fails Joseph would be equally available if he were on a practice squad or just a free agent.

In an unrelated thought I would like to see the league allow you to have exclusive rights on 2 of your 10 practice squad players, although it wouldn't be fair to the players if they're locked in a low paying practice squad spot and another team wants to offer them a 53 man regular season job.

Yes... rotoworld has a long time bias against anything the phins do...
I'm sure that it is one particular writer, rather than the whole service... but the bias exists.

The guy who wrote that blurb is an intern for one of the internet's worst websites.
