Stone handed he only dropped 5 of his 75 passes thrown to him last year (6%). I know Ireland went crazy paying one of the better FA WR on the market for just over 3 million a yr (3.75 mil guaranteed) not to mention he had more TD's last yr than all of our WR combined last yr. Of course as it says if the Jets signed him it would have been a great deal but since the Fins did its a bad move - UNBELIEVABLE. I know I shouldn't be surprised but even Armando actually wrote a positive article about our WR's.
 
My suggestion is to stop reading the Evan Silva website. He just copies and pastes news from real media outlets and adds his sarcastic insults.
 
Bess didn't have after the catch ability and we gotta pick for him before the last year of his contract. I don't get the argument here.
 
Yeah i notice that too..he's mad cause mark sanchez and geno smith both looked bad today..what a jet homer..BESS LEGS ARE SO STUMPY THAT HE SLIPS WHEN HE TRYS TO CUT..
 
Anybody else know a site similar to rotoworld? I use the site all the time, but I really don't want to give them the views after everything they have been saying about the Phins. Once or twice... ok. But they insult our team literally every single post they have about us.

I'm tired of the Gibson bashing. He is a solid receiver that the FO feels can fit the system. Not every wideout needs to be Megatron. He will essentially replace Bess's #s but with hopefully a higher YAC.
 
Heath Evans is a Patriots fan and there is strong evidence and rumors that Silva is a Jets fan. One of the main reasons they throw out insults about "overpaying" and using "monopoly money" is really jealousy that their teams don't have the cap room to sign these players.

There is a difference between criticizing certain moves and blind hate.
 
meh the pathetic anti Miami agenda continues. They can never say anything positive without throwing in a negative.
 
Bold prediction - Brandon Gibson is going to be the pleasant surprise to the offense this year. I know that some in the media consider him below average, but I think that coach Philbin really, really wanted him. Time will tell, but Gibson was a deliberately targeted weapon, when there were a stack of lower cost good WRs available in the draft. I expect some in the media to be genuinely shocked that Gibson is so good.
 
It's not just Ireland handing out foolish money to anyone it's players this coaching staff wants for their system. As has been discussed Philbin was fully involved in the FA signings.
