When I saw his name I really hoped to see..."has been waived" but we're not that lucky lol.

Legedu Naanee played just 27 snaps in the Dolphins' Week 1 loss to the Texans.
Naanee isn't long for the starting gig and he knows it. "I haven't really been on the same page, in the flow of the game, really," Naanee said. "It's pretty evident that I need to make plays." Davone Bess and Brian Hartline are the top-two wideouts in Miami right now. Sep 13 - 10:33 AM

All the receivers are not doing themselves any favors. That includes Hartline and Bess.

Tannehill is pretty much going by with pin point accuracy to get his targets to catch the ball, but he's not having any help especially on the out routes, which Tannehill excelled on in Texas A&M, he was actually one of the best throwing the out. These receivers are simply not winning their battles against defensive backs. They're covered like a blanket. So Tannehill has to resort to check downs more often.

I thought that interception was more Naanee's fault than Tannehill's,

it was a bigger momentum changer than the tipped passes IMO, up to that point everything was working perfectly.

NFL Game Rewind has the coaches' film, and which gives you the wide angle shot and lets you see the routes developing downfield. You can really see that our guys just aren't getting open. But on the flip side, I'm now convinced that Ryan Tannehill has what it takes to master the mental side of the game. His decision making was outstanding.

I honestly can't wait to see what he can do with some legit weapons.

No WR is getting the separation from DBs. If what we have can't make their own then we need to either try a different guy, Matthews for example, or run pick plays.

I think Naanee is a bust but RT was off with a lot of his throws so the pinpoint accuracy is a stretch

Uh there is a difference between won't and can't. The receivers can't get separation because they are not that good. When Marshall was here it put the focus on the defense to cover him which allowed lesser receivers to be matched up against lesser corners. Miami has nobody who warrants any special attention so the defense can cover all easily. Miami just has, as Ireland put it, a bunch of 3,4,5 going against 1,2,3 at corner. Easy to see why there is not separation happening.

Yeah. That's why I want us to invest our draft picks next year on WR and tight end options. Plus get a proven one in free agency like Jennings.

We also need to give Matthews a chance, I think he has legit talent.

This is going to be a struggling year for Tannehill. I just hope he stays upbeat cause these receivers are going to make him look bad. I can honestly see 21+ INT's as a possibility because of these receivers.

But there's nothing Tannehill can do about that. there's nothing developing downfield, he makes anticipation throws and the receivers just aren't making the defensive backs backpedal. They're not fooling anyone, they make themselves pretty predictable and it's mostly because they don't really have much talent as far as route running ability goes.

It's quite a stretch to be honest. Yes, the recievers are bad but for some of the people here to act like Tannehill has been perfect is pretty laughable. I like the guy, I think he has what it takes to be a franchise QB eventually but he's definitley not perfect.

You know guys? There comes a time when you stop blaming players' continuous bad play which costs their team wins. It's time to blame the coaches. Mike Sherman gets on Charles Clay and Michael Egnew and berates them but yet he keeps sending Nanee' out there to screw up. why would Nanee take himself out of the starting lineup? It is up to the coaches to bench is butt. as long as the keep him out there, they are going to keep getting the same results and the losses will pile up.

This wr sucks azz....Im totally baffled as to why the heck Miami even considered signing this guy.In now way does Nanee fit a WCO schemme.
