Rotoworld rips Philbin

Did anyone see any half time adjustments ever? Phailbin is over his head and its time to move on..

You're referring to the games at home vs. Buffalo and at Tampa Bay right? Do you realize Buffalo won by 2 and Tampa Bay by 3? How is that losing both games by a lot?
You realize Buffalo was starting basically a career practice squad QB and Tampa hadnt won a game all year right?

Yup. What I said is still true. Neither game was a blow out. Miami had that game vs. Buffalo won if they run the ball at the end. They also had the game vs. Tampa won if the defense has one last stand.

yeah but it is always the coaches fault when the players have the game in the bag and then don't execute at the end. sarcasm.

I don't disagree with them on philbin especially after today. Man what I would give to be a respected team again we always look like clowns

the guy is a complete moron, I am tired of failing every year, cam Cameron sparano this bum. Front office has no clue, it's to the point where I watch good matchup football on sunday, Miami is a waste of time, I usually go to 2-3 games a year but not any more, I refuse to support this train wreck. They don't deserve my hard earned money, it is an absolute joke this franchise....Ross and philbin ruined it for me ........thanks

Patrick Daugherty of rotoworld ranks Philbin the worst returning NFL coach

Here is what he has to write:

Joe Philbin
Career Record: 15-17 (.469)
With The Dolphins Since: 2012

You might think that, like Garrett, it’s not clear what Philbin does. You’d be wrong. It is clear. Nothing. Philbin does nothing. Philbin is a former offensive coordinator who didn’t call plays even when he was an offensive coordinator. He doesn’t know how to hire assistants. He doesn’t know who to feature on offense. He doesn’t know how to handle a PR crisis. He does know how to project the personality of a cantaloupe that’s learned how to talk. Maybe Philbin’s value added to the Dolphins is immense behind the scenes. His starring role on Hard Knocks wouldn’t suggest that, but work with me. But even if that were true, could it possibly be worth the ineptitude he’s shown on the sideline? Hiring Mike Sherman? Featuring Daniel Thomas? Having no clue how to get to the ball to his No. 1 receiver or keep his quarterback upright? With a playoff berth on the line, Philbin’s team combined for seven points in Weeks 16 and 17. It generated 24 first downs. That would get you fired five times in Cleveland. In Miami, it wins you a power struggle with the general manager. Philbin’s off-the-field victory will ultimately prove pyrrhic for the Dolphins on it.

All I know is he does one helluva Bambi impression.

So, if anyone wants to defend Philbin, please let us know why, as far as X's and O's.

Asked this before...they got nothing...

Just hoping that Hickey is just giving him his "gratuity year" before firing his ass.

When Tannehill plays well he wins at as high a percentage as any head coach in the league. If you want to blame Philbin for Tannehill not playing better more often thats fine but personally I put Tannehill's poor play on Tannehill. Having said that I believe Philbin had a big role in selecting Tannehill so he made his own bed in that regard.

And the coaches called a run but Tannehill was the one that changed the play from a run to a pass.
