Rotoworld says thomas has been "major" dissapointment.

Funny thing is last week some time I was watching a fantasy show on either NFLN or ESPN and they had DT listed as the #1 offensive rookie. I didn't bother to post because this is all baseless speculation. Most likely due to the fact that we are known to be a run first squad. However, he was listed as a under the radar steal too. Everyone has their view.

Especially when you see stuff like this.

Talk about begging for hits!

"Although Daniel Thomas has been a major disappointment this preseason"

God Rotoworld is terrible...

Agreed. Why does anyone quote anything from Rotoworld? Calling him a disappointment is ridiculous.

Rotoworld has changed their name to Bozoworld. Bunch of stiffs with a lack of objective reporting. Daniel Thomas is far from spectacular, but who said "major disappointment"?

wow, just wow Rotoworld. So I guess if Brees throws a pick on opening day, I should drop him? Morons!

Rotoworld is a joke. If Thomas is a "major disappointment" after 2 games, what would they consider Henne?

2 preseason games is not enough time to make that distinction.

Rotoworld has been a major disappointment for as long as I remember. I wouldn't put any stock into anything they say.

why would the FO and coaching staff be comfortable with the RB situation if it was Reggie Bush, a rookie, Lex Hilliard, Nic Grigsby and Kory Sheets (who was on the chopping block)? If either Reggie Bush or the rookie got injured (knock on wood), where are you then? I mean, even if the rookie was a young Barry Sanders + Eric Dickerson + Jim Brown combo, aren't you going to need a RB you can count on backing him up? unbelievable.

I remember after we aquired him, Ricky Williams looked very underwhelming in his preseason games with us and then went on to torch the league for 1853 yards. It's too early to tell either way about Thomas, having Big Jake Long back will do wonders for the kid I imagine.

I don't really follow fantasy football...this season is actually the first I ever played...it seems that fantasy "experts" believed with no basis in fact that Reggie Bush was going to be your 3rd down back, come in for Thomas when he needed rest, etc...so this was their assessment, and they had Thomas rated pretty highly because of it...then it turns out Bush is meant to be the starter, rendering that assessment useless...although even to right now, you get a lot of them still believing Bush only gets 7 touches a game...but, in response to Bush possibly being the man, they are presumably saying it has to be because Thomas is disappointing. As though Bush being the starter is a change of plans.

Coming from someone who thinks the DT pick was ridiculous, Rotoworld is talking out their ***. Just completely unfounded bull****.

He hasn't been a major disappointment. Perhaps he is not where they hoped he would be at this point, but he is far from a major disappointment. He will still get a lot of carries this year and I expect he will be in the running for offensive rookie of the year.
Sorry Nubs but the Jets will win all individual awards as well as the Super Bowl and in 6 years will be proclaimed the greatest dynasty in history :bobdole:

Well that's what their fans think..............

This is for all the media........................**** all of you!!!! I am so tired of bogus stories that come up because of assumptions or rumors.

I wouldn't say Thomas has been doing "great". But, its very early to be calling him a disappointment or a bust.

IMO, Thomas' best asset so far has been the ability to gain yardage on every play. Even when it seems he will go down in the backfield, he breaks a tackle or two and turns negative yardage into positive.

I don't think he's been a disappointment at all. Our OL was a disappointment in PS game 1. That's about it. Thomas was runnin like a bull in game 2. Shows how poorly informed these "outsiders" are, I don't know why people bother with what they say.
