It's nice to see people other than Miami fans agreeing that these two were great this year.

Fullback: Lousaka Polite, Dolphins – Polite was a short-yardage conversion machine while also paving the way for a dominant rushing attack.

Defensive End: Randy Starks, Dolphins – Ends in a 3-4 scheme are easy to overlook, but Starks was a disruptive force for the Dolphins all season while the Texans' Mario Williams disappeared for long stretches.

Its all about opinion. Personally I like McClain better.

McClain is good, but had Polite had at least 2 TDs,I think he'd get the nod over McClain.

Polite, just doesnt have the TD's or the rushing yards to compete w/ McClain.

As a true fullback this year, I thought Polite got robbed. He should have gotten it over Mcclain. But in the pro bowl vote, its all about who people are familiar with. If the phins would have taken care of bizness and preparing for the playoffs, I believe Polite would have gotten it. all about exposure. They didnt have it. Speaking of Starks and Polite

****, if they didn't get in this year, what the hell do they have to do to earn that spot? They had GREAT seasons.

Which is usually the case and nobody really has broken down both players on film and see who is better overall. Its just whose known contest. Last year Ronnie Brown had alot of exposure from the wildcat and got the nod over more deserving productionwise players. Still I would rather have McClain he brings more weapons to the table and is still a good blocker. Ray Rice made the pro bowl with him as a FB.

Ronnie Brown was a great example on getting in from the exposure. He had a good year (not great).

 Then I don't think you were paying close enough attention to what Polite was doing this season. They should call him "The Linebacker killer." All he does is explode LBs and be money on short yardage.

Total robbery.

I think he has done a great job but to your point have u watched McLain every game or any other FB. Im sure you much like everyone else on this board or anywhere would answer no. The probowl is about popularity and recognition. If we were 11-4 Polite would be more known. If we had a pro bowl runningback this year they would look at him. Its all about opinion on positions like fullback. There is no tangible stat to totally judge a fullback.

Like last year it was total robbery that Favre went over Rivers. Numbers can back that up or Brown over Slaton or Jones.

The pro bowl is a popularity contest. Nothin more, nothing less. That's why Brett Favre got in last year. I don't get why people become upset when this player and that player don't make the pro bowl. The fans vote which is what makes it dumb. IMO, the pro bowl is just a big joke.

Polite Def got snubbed..

34 ends dont really ever make it in to my knowledge unless your Richard Seymour..

Hard to pass on Freeney, Mathis when they were undeafeated..

Starks is a beast...I wanna see him gain 20 pounds and play the Nose A la Jay Ratliff

Has anybody ever been upset when a dolphin makes it over a more deserving player lol. Zach Thomas got screwed quite a bit but it happens
