Of course Miami is one of them loi..........why wouldn't they be.

Road trips may soon be getting more interesting for NFL teams.

Per a league source, roughly 20 teams may end up without charter arrangements for the 2017 season. According to Forbes.com, American recently suspended its charter arrangements with six NFL franchises: the Cardinals, Ravens, Colts, Jaguars, Dolphins, and Steelers.

FYI - Read the comments they are PRICELESS!

I hear United could use the business.

I think American is based out of Charlotte so it makes sense they would continue to charter for the Panthers.

Would not surprise me if Ross just bought a private plane for the team and told American to take a hike but this is not a big deal. It will get resolved before the season I'm sure.

Couldn't find a pic of the guy duct taping up the prop

In other news....Stephen M. Ross purchases American Airlines, fires the CEO and COO, raises prices for charters for 19 NFL teams.

Wow the Dolphins are going to hate taking Spirit Airlines to London. $50 for the first checked bag and no wifi.

Hopefully the NFL teams can hit up the local taxpayers for any needed monies.

OH NOES what will the poor billionaire owners of the NFL do? Oh of course, they’ll pass the increased costs onto the fans! That’s a well that will never run dry.

No real loss if United can’t fly any of the teams. The last thing I’d want is my team’s long-snapper or outside linebacker or whoever getting the crap kicked out of them and dragged off the plane and ending up on the injury report that week.

Southwest! Bags fly free!

As a former VP of Greyhound Lines, “Ride the Dog!”

Vince Wilfork vs a TSA agent.
I’d watch that.

Guess it is time for the NFL to tell taxpayers that they need to also buy planes for the NFL owner in addition to the stadium.
No planes, no stadium, the NFL owner will move the team to a city whose taxpayers will fund the billionaire.

Could we have a Planes…Trains and Automobiles situation on our hands……

Buddy Ryan would have loved United – he’d make the players fight to get a seat.

:lol2:

Yeah the comments are sheer greatness.

Mike Brown is currently pricing a 1947 crop duster bi plane for the Bengals….

Gonna be problematic when they find out their cocaine isn’t allowed in their carry on luggage

Blimps! Just don’t let the Patriots be in charge of inflating them.

First world problems are still problems, I guess

Seems kind of dumb to revoke.... hope Ross just buys a plane. That would be such a f*** you to the airlines and would be so much nicer that any plane before

Could be talking about chartering one of these bad boys (737 800 VIP ) from Bluestar Jets. To buy it runs about 80 million and then it cost a fortune to maintain. The 800 version might be too big, but hey I want my guys to ride in comfort. Some of them aren't exactly average sized dudes. :-)

Not even the cost of a defensive lineman.

Rather them fly over the stadium on a C-17 type plane, then have the team parachute on to the field suited up, helmets and all, minutes before kickoff.

BINGO!!

Give the military pilots some extra seat time. And when they fly the Patriots to Miami, they can just drop them off in the Everglades!!

Brady is crunchy and goes good with catsup :eat:
