Did we get value? Is this guy any good? Will he contribute as a rookie? Will he even make the team? Educate those of us who are all out of draft insight this late into the game.

Former LB, suppose to be a SS. Still learning position, good tackler. All according to TSN.

5'11" 209 pounds
40 AVERAGE:4.67
VERTICAL:36.0

100+ tackles the last three years

Pros: The pure definition of “Over achiever.†Big hitter with a non stop motor. A very good tackler who always looks to be around the ball. Great football IQ.

Cons: A little small for a linebacker and a little slow for a Safety, gets by on strength, and pure will power rather then athleticism. Not great cover skills.

Very experienced tackle machine who fits our scheme, can run and can play S or OLB. He's a ST maven as well. Decent value pick yet again. Gotta hand it to Rick.

hmmmmm......not too sure about this one.
But scouting report does sound familiar eh?........ZT.

Bua runs a 4.5. He was a nice value pick again, especially as there is clearly a problem with PK Sam.

I didn't like it. Would rather have had Sam at this pick for value and potential.

OVERVIEW
Four-year starter who found a home at free safety in his final year after excelling as a weakside linebacker during his first three seasons for the Razorbacks … Also excels in the class room, garnering several academic honors … Moved into the starting lineup midway through his redshirt freshman season, establishing himself as one of the top big-play artists in the Southeastern Conference … High-intensity type whose hard-hitting tackling skills could see him shift to strong safety at the pro level … Has drawn comparisons to All-Pro safety Adam Archuletta (St. Louis) … Started 38 of 47 games for Arkansas, recording 403 tackles (245 solos) with six sacks for minus-55 yards, 24 stops for losses of 93 yards, six interceptions for 30 yards in returns, 13 pass deflections, five forced fumbles and five fumble recoveries … His 403 tackles broke school's all-time record list, surpassing the previous mark of 381 by Ken Hamlin (2000-02) … A model of consistency, he had at least 10 tackles in 20 contests during his career.

Sounds like a Pat Tillman type. LB converted to S. Overachiever with nonstop motor and smart. Sure Rick is hoping this guy can become a Special Teams leader.

I agree I think something is scaring people away from PK Sam. Wonder what's up?

Tony Bua = Trent Gamble. Another solid pick for the phins. You guys are probably pissed that NE got PK Sam.
