This is who I'd like to see the Fins draft in Round 6...

ROUND 6 (166) - DT David Patterson, Ohio State
Blue collar mentality. Gets the job done. A tweener. Can also play DE. Would be a great fit for us.

If Patterson is off the board, here are some other possibilities:

C Enoka Lucas, Oregon
C Drew Mormino, Central Michigan
C Scott Stephenson, Iowa St
C Mark Fenton, Colorado
RT Brandon Frye, Virginia Tech
LB Juwan Simpson, Alabama
LB Stephen Nicholas, South Florida
DT Derek Landri, Notre Dame
DT Matt Toeaina, Oregon
OG Tim Duckworth, Auburn
OG Cameron Stephenson, Rutgers
OG Dan Santucci, Notre Dame
WR Laurent Robinson, Illinois St
WR Brandon Myles, West Virginia
WR Steve Breaston, Michigan
WR Ryne Robinson, Miami (OH)
QB Tyler Palko, Pittsburgh
RB Garrett Wolfe, Northern Illinois
RB Chris Henry, Arizona
S C.J. Gaddis, Clemson
CB Reggie Lewis, Florida

If we get Denver's pick...

ROUND 6 (184) - WR James Jones, San Jose St
Could be this year's Marques Colston.

What do you say FinHeaven? Who do you like in the 6th round?

Patterson I think is a bit light unless he converts to a 3-4 DE. With our glut of 4-3 DT and lack of 3-4 NT, it would seem he has to convert to a DE.

I think Brandon Myles could be this year's Colston. Good speed, decent size, great work ethic, solid hands, good upside and is only down in the depths because his offense was heavily run oriented. He really made a mark on the Senior Bowl and ran a 4.41 40 at his Pro Day. He could be the deep threat this team has been looking for and at a bargain. It may be just me, but I see a Marvin Harrison lite in the making.

Chris Henry is a 1st day pick.

ROUND 6 (166) - I like Patterson, too. Type of guy who doesn't get much credit, but makes a major contribution.

If we get the pick from Denver, I like LB Juwan Simpson from Alabama. Off-field-issues are the only reason he's dropped this far. Worth the risk in the 6th round.

RT Brandon Frye, Virginia Tech would be a great pick but I doubt he drops to the 6th round.

He's a great project for Houck and he has a lot of potential
