Fisher may be mediocre, but we haven't had a coach like that since Shula. multiple 13-3 seasons, a super bowl appearance, multiple playoff runs. When was the last time the Dolphins won more than 11 games? 1990. No super bowl since 1984. Why are we so picky? don't forget, the Titans had a cheap owner and lost tons of players to free agency, one reason they would go from 13-3, 13-3 to 5-11, 4-12, back to 12-4, 11-5, 10-6. back down to 8-8, 7-9...

The Dolphins did far worse than the Titans during that time frame, especially since 1999.

I want a young Shula....but do people actually believe that Ross and Ireland will find it? Highly doubtful.

Wasn't it 4 years ago the Dolphins were projected to win 3-5 games and instead a team lead by Pennington and Sprano they won the AFC East? Why did we fire Sprano again? Sorry dude, weak.

I was responding to someone saying Fisher lacked recent success. 13-3 with Kerry Collins is extremely ****ing successful. Do you need me to bring up all the 12+ win seasons? The yard away from a Super Bowl? The crap management and lack of a QB? The fact that he has 1 less playoff win than Marty (who people here worship) who has been coaching since the stone age. That most of his playoff losses came to the eventual super bowl winner. Coaching a team through 3 different cities. That he's been a HC 16 years and is the same age as all these other 1st time HCs we're interviewing? But those of you who want to live in this delusion that Fisher has been unsuccessful in this league. Go right ahead. But chanting 6 winning seasons in 16 years like some braindead mantra is not going to change the fact that Fisher is a hell of a football coach.
