sorry to make a thread i guess this can the official rookie thread or something but i really gotta talk about him.......he was amazing tonite:yes:

10/16 and 20 points. it wasnt just stats either he started to takeover in the end of the third

He looked good, I saw a few highlights. Gay looked good too.

Brandon Roy is a stud.. Rudy Gay is made for the NBA.. After watching the last couple of years at UCONN he is tailor made for the NBA game.. He will be hitting those 12-18ft shots for the rest of his career, along with some highlight dunks and hot 3pt shooting.. That being said he really, really, really needs to work on his defense, he is gonna get abused by some of the 3's and 4's in the league until he bulks up more..

Rudy Gay posted better number...Adam Morrison probobly would of if he was starting

Roy had a good solid game, just saying hes r.o.y. after one game is a little too much i think it'll be a race between those 3 guys all season though

Rudy Gay will get ROY honors.Provided he isnt hurt.Youll see alot of Tyrus Thomas on sportcentcenter, but Gay will put up rebounds, steals and blocks at an unreal rate.Rudy Gay rook of the year.

Marcus Williams 7 points 8 rebounds and 3 assists in 23 minutes

but he had a horrible FG percentage and turned the ball over a lot.

Roye is starting, and will be the Blazers top scorer.

Gay will eventually start over Miller, or Jones. He looked good last night.

Kyle Lowry also looked really good (at 6' tall he had 10 rebounds, 5 of them offensive). He doesn't score much (mainly because he's not asked too). If Memphis plays him, he's a dark horse for the award IMO.

Jordan Farmar is another guy I think will become a starter, and have a shot.

There wasn't much star power in this rookie class, but a lot of depth. There are a lot of guys in this class that will be in the league for awhile.

Morrison 6-9 FG 2-2 FT 2-3 3 pt 16 points

thats after one half...
