Its too bad Roy's career turned out the way it did. Its a far cry from what he used to be. There are many memories of Roy creating jarring hits on the offense. I remember when players used to be afraid to go over the middle when he was there. I also remember when he intercepted McNabb's pass and returned it for a touchdown on a monday night game to win us one we should have lost by all appearances. It was the first game we played after TO was suspended by them. He was the face of the franchise, and at some point, he just stopped being a good player. It all started with his horse-collars, and then missed tackles, and his softer hits, reporting over weight, and then not being able to cover at all. Then his release was barely noticed amidst the release of TO. I wish him well in Cincinnati, and hope Mike Zimmer can help him find that player he used to be.
