Roy Williams wants Miami?

At this point I'm sure he'd love to go anywhere. We already have a guy that's a liability in coverage at Safety...Don't think we need another one.
 
Okay against the run, big hitter but sucks in coverage and can't convert to the FS position.
 
Sean Smith will play FS for the Fins next year.
 
no to this as well. him and bell are too similar - and bell is better.

Bell is very good - probably had his best year as a 'Fin, but is looking for a big pay increase, as a restricted free agent. I understand that he is rated the #2 Safety in free agency, behind Dawkins.
Williams is a high character player with a proven track record with Parcells. As someone else noted, he plays similar and same role as Bell. Maybe the Head Office decides to pay Yeremiah $X and if he says no, they sign Williams instead.
 
They can sign him as a back up and he can switch up with Bell once in a while(hes not asking for much).
 
i don't know much about the player, just that he is a liability in coverage. but is there any possibility he can come in and make a thomas davis like (for carolina) conversion to linebacker?
 
No way do I want Roy Williams on our team. Our secondary would be immeasurably weakened with him on the field.
 
umm i thought he said hes better suited for a 4-3 defense?
 
Roy Williams might want Miami but hopefully Miami doesn't want him. No thanks.
