Why wouldn't we go after Roy Williams from Detroit? He is a beast...a little injury prone....but a beast. Fox said Philly is going after him and he is definitely on the trading block. Sorry if this has been mentioned before.

i like him to but wed probably have to give up alot for him

I think that if Taylor is really on the block that the price wouldn't be too high for Roy. We could send JT over for a pick and and Roy Williams. They said that they wanted an experienced defensive player for Roy when they were actively trying to trade him.

do think taylor would even go to detroit. he wouldnt leave a lossing team to go to another one especially a cold weather team he would retire

Good point about going to another rebuilding team but the last time I checked Detroit played all of their home games in a dome and at least one on the road (Minnesota).

Are you sure he's on the block, It was only like a week ago when Marinelli said there was no way they'd trade him.

As I have said before I live inn Detriot and watch every Lions game, and I think Roy has all the tools to succeed, but a lot of the times he gets a little too concerned about talking to the press/players and not playing every down. He takes plays off, but most NFL players do. I honestly wouldn't mind him coming here, but I would welcome him with a CAUTION: might come back to bite us in the arse sign.

Don't forget Detriot was 6-2 at one point in the year, they are very close to being a contender in the weak NFC.

We'd have to send them a pick + JT, not the other way around.

I dont know why they'd trade him though, guy is a stud and still pretty young.

Philly is going to land one of those two stud WRs - Roy Williams or Larry Fitz. My hope is that once they do maybe it will be easier for us to get the other.

But seriously, who am I kidding? We're not getting a bigtime WR anytime soon...just gonna have to make do with Ginn, Wilford, Hagan, Camarillo....
